We'd been wandering around downtown Pescadero since just before sunrise taking photos in the early morning light. I don't remember if Matt had noticed the cemetery on the side of the hill or I recalled it from a previous visit, but we went to explore only to find the light on the wrong side of the grave markers.

Walking to the back fence I found this iconic, if not cliché, ranch scene catching the sun. The treatment I gave the picture is rather overcooked, but reinforces the sense of storybook fantasy I had when encountering it.
