I felt pretty uncomfortable photographing a stranger's bathroom window, particularly while the room was obviously in use, but these hints at domestic scenes have always intrigued me and I couldn't pass up the light playing off the moisture on the textured window with the warm drapes behind. The composition was a struggle until I cut out the surrounding wall and paired it down tight to the window frame itself - a utility I've used elsewhere to turn the entire photo into a kind of viewing portal to the scene within.
